Introducing Outlaw Yarns! 🧶

Yarn that celebrates local

We have always made an effort to serve our customers in two different ways:

First is to bring exciting international yarn brands in, so our local customers can experience a variety of fibres and yarn types that we couldn't otherwise access here in New Zealand.

Second is to celebrate and promote NZ Wool and NZ-made products to do our best to enhance the wonderful wool industry that we have right here in our beautiful country.

This new yarn that we're excited to introduce today falls firmly into the second category.

Outlaw Yarn

We've long admired Outlaw Yarn and are so happy to be filling our shelves with it and bringing it to all of you.

Outlaw Yarn is a boutique dye house and luxury yarn brand based in Christchurch, on the South Island of New Zealand. Their yarns are spun in Wellington, and dyed by Deb and her team in the Outlaw Yarn studio. They are made 100% out of NZ wool and are non-superwash (meaning they maintain the beautiful properties of natural wool).

We've introduced a 24-colour range of both Rebel Worsted and Rebel Light, both woollen-spun 80% Merino 20% Halfbred wool.
