Sock Pattern Inspiration

Good morning sock knitters,

Browsing through Ravelry this morning, I wanted to share a handful of my favourite sock patterns for a little bit of inspiration this crisp Tuesday morning.

Colorwork Socks

Colorwork socks can be so cute! There are a few things to keep in mind when knitting colorwork socks, and one of those is the tension created by the floats. Often it's a good idea to go up in stitch count to compensate for the loss of stretch.

If you want to learn all the tips and tricks behind knitting colorwork socks, there's an excellent online course from Charlotte Stone of StoneKnits. She designs the cutest colorwork socks! You can find her course here.

Sometimes just a little bit of texture can really elevate a sock! Stripe details are also super common, and sometimes you get a bit of both!
