Spincycle is Back!
We all need a little bit of colour to brighten up the cold gloomy winter weather. Well Spincycle yarns have made their way across the Pacific to do just that, and we have some bright ideas for what you can do with these beautiful skeins.
In case you have never heard of Spincycle before, it is owned by Rachel and Kate, two women (spinsters) who started off as small batch handspinners.
As the demand of their unique hand-dyed yarn increased, they acquired their own mill to maintain their uniqueness, but with much greater efficiency so we can all enjoy their lovely yarns. Truly the best of both worlds!

Let's get to the Yarn
Spincycle yarns are all composed of two strands of yarn, individually hand dyed as fibre, spun, and twisted together (kinda like our double helix DNA structure).

Dream State
Dream State is Spincycle's worsted weight yarn (its technically considered a worsted weight, but it can be knitted at a DK gauge too).
The High Lonesome jumper will keep you and your love ones warm this winter. It is especially great if you are not ready to splurge on making a whole garment out of Spincycle; this pattern only calls for one or two skeins depending on size.

Dyed In the Wool is Spincycle's sport weight yarn (use it as a 4 or 5 ply).
So many possibilities with this one! Use it to add a little pop, or go all out!

Versus
Versus is Spincycle's DK weight yarn. Two solid colours plied together.
It is excellent by itself, if you would like something with a bit more consistency. Or it pairs well with Dyed In the Wool, or with Dream State for texture!
