Loopine is so happy to have brought the beautiful and unique Spincycle Yarns to the New Zealand market! 

The team at Spincycle Yarns began as a handspinnery, but they wanted to find a way to merge the beauty and texture of a handspun yarn with a more efficiently produced millspun yarn. Thus Dyed In The Wool was born. 

The colour transitions are slow and dramatic, and each skein is unique due to how it's made. The fibre is hand-dyed before being mill spun by Spincycle's in-house mill. Lots- and even skeins within lots- vary pretty wildly! But that's the charm and unique thrill that Spincycle Yarns offer. Allow for nuance, and enjoy the ride.

If you have a preference for how your skeins look, i.e. "more pink", "more marled", "darkest tones", etc. please leave a note in your order at checkout and we'll do our best to accomodate you.

Care instructions: Cold hand wash, dry flat.

For high contrast colour work, we recommend steam blocking to avoid colour transfer. Some dyes are notoriously difficult to set, and may exhaust colour even after the final wash after dying. Please keep this in mind if you are combining any hand dyed yarn with a light colour. If you plan to combine a hand dyed yarn, especially a very saturated colour, with a lighter yarn we suggest to test your darker skeins for possible colour transfer by soaking first. To wash your knitwear, a quick cold water dip with no-rinse wool wash is recommended.
