This yarn is sold 'in the oil', meaning the final mill process of scouring the spun yarn was bypassed. This means that once you wash/wet block your finished items, they bloom beautifully as the yarn opens up and fills out the fabric.

If you prefer, feel free to wash the skeins prior to use.

Handwash with love in a quality wool wash and hot water, dry flat and watch the yarn bloom!
