Black Cat Favourite Socks pattern is the result of many years of knitting socks and honing my preferred techniques along with finding the best fit.
They are worked toe-up using a short row heel with added shaping to accommodate the instep.
They come in 5 adult sizes, with tips on how to modify to fit your foot.
This is the sock pattern I have memorized and knit over and over again, and I hope you love it too!

Yarn:
Any sock yarn can work. I recommend finding a blend of wool and nylon for durability or another yarn intended for sock knitting, and a weight of approx. 366-400 metres per 100 gram skein.
Approximate amounts required: 200-340 metres / 218-371 yards in total
Recommended yarns listed in the Ravelry page are some of the sock yarns I’ve personally used to make these socks before. I have also knit a couple of pairs using my own handpsun yarn.
