The Driftless Mitts Bulky are the 12-ply version of Driftless Mitts DK, and were named for the beautiful autumn colors abundant in the Driftless Region of Western Wisconsin.
Construction:
These mitts are a super fast and easy yet rewarding project that would suit a person who is new to basic colorwork. They are knit from the bottom up, increasing to create the thumb, and following a simple color chart at the top.
Pattern is written in-the-round, with instructions on how to modify the pattern to knit flat, so if you are new to circulars or dpns no problem!
Needles:
US 6/4 mm double pointed needles
US 6/4 mm straight needles (if working flat)

53-90 yards of your main color and 13-18 yards of your second color.

Finished Size:
The finished size is about 3.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall. They will fit an average adult hand and older children’s hands as well.
