Haunui Wool is grown on a family farm based in the foothills of South Canterbury, New Zealand.
The family started breeding coloured sheep in the 1980s, with a goal of producing premium quality wool. They have a passion for breeding sheep whose wool has a stunning handle, soft enough to be used for next to skin clothing, yet long enough for easy hand spinning and maintaining handcraft characteristics.
Haunui sheep have their own wide range of individual colours which are reflected in the collection of this wool. This gives our wool a natural warmth and depth.
