Sweater making from start to finish
Ready to make your first sweater, or looking for help with all the little details that make a handmade garment fit and finish beautifully?
This 5 part workshop is for knitters who already know the basics and are ready to start knitting garments with more confidence. Over the course, Wiebke and Zara will guide you through the key stages of making a sweater, from choosing yarn and checking gauge through to shaping, sleeves, finishing and blocking.
Please note, this is not a beginner knitting class. You will need to be confident with knit and purl stitches, increases, decreases and picking up stitches.
Most of the knitting will be done at home between classes. Workshop time will focus on guidance, demonstrations, troubleshooting and helping you feel confident with each stage of the project.
