Start your knitting journey with a relaxed 3 hour workshop at Loopine.

This workshop is for total beginners and uses the Black Cat Knit Co Basic Mitts pattern as a simple first project. You’ll learn how to cast on, knit, purl, cast off and sew up your work.

You’ll leave with one finished fingerless mitt, plus the skills and confidence to make the second one at home.

Pattern, knitting needles and yarn are all included.

In the shop

The workshop is held at Loopine Wool Co, 323 Parnell Road, Parnell.

Tea and water will be available, and you are welcome to bring a snack if you’d like.

Bathrooms are available, with access via the outside of the building.

Cancellation policy

Please make sure you are able to attend before booking.

We offer refunds up to 14 days before the workshop. Within 14 days of the workshop, refunds will only be available if we are able to resell your place.

We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if the minimum number of 3 participants is not met. If the workshop is cancelled, you will receive either a full refund or store credit, whichever you prefer.
