The Bitterroot Cowl is knit seamlessly in bulky yarn from the bottom up with a folded hem, i-cord drawstring and stranded colorwork pattern worked from a chart. It is named after the Bitterroot Valley in Montana.

Color 1 (black): 65–85 yards

(preferably 60cm long — this helps keep your floats even in the back. If you use a shorter needle be careful not to let them bunch up)
