This shawl is knit up in the gorgeous Prosper Yarn Bach DK, a linen merino blend yarn perfect for wrapping around yourself on a warm windy summer’s day at the beach.

The ‘Black Sand’ comes from the gorgeous iron-rich black sand beaches abundant on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand where I live.
