Construction
The Hanmer Mitts are knit in the round from the bottom up, increasing to form the thumb, with stranded colorwork at the top using a chart.
Materials Needed Yarn
Brushtail Upcycled Possum Merino
(75% merino wool/ 25% Brushtail possum fur, DK weight/ 8ply, 150m/ 164y per 50g)
Colors pictured: Firefly, Red, Natural Light
Or similar yarns that can achieve gauge.
Quantities needed
You will need 1 skein per color.
If substituting yarn, approx. amounts required:
Color 1 (Firefly): 68 metres/ 75 yards
Color 2 (Red): 7 metres/ 7.5 yards
Color 3 (Natural Light): 21 metres/ 22 yards
