Pattern Details:

Marie’s Romper is worked from the top down with raglan increases and a neckline shaped with short rows. An invisible casing for the drawstring is worked around the waist. Extra height is added at the back of the romper to make room for a diapered bottom, and it is finished with popper (snap) buttons between the legs.

3-6 months (6-9 months) 9-12 months (12-18 months) 18-24 months (2-3 years)

Gauge: 22 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch after blocking

Measurements: Bust circumference: 46 (49) 51 (53) 55 (58) cm [18 (19¼) 20 (21) 21¾ (22¾) inches]

Needles:
Circular needles: 3 mm [US2½] and 3.5 mm [US4] / 40 cm and 60 cm [16 and 24 inches] (or the required needle size to obtain gauge)
Double-pointed needles: 3 mm [US2½] and 3.5 mm [US4]
