Join Kylie's Afterthought Heel workshop to learn how to insert an afterthought heel and toe to a machine-knitted sock tube - cutting down sock making time and still getting the pleasure of hand knitted socks.

The workshop will be 4 hours long and show you how to divide the tube, insert the heel, add a toe box and finish everything off with a beautiful ribbed cuff.

Saturday, 24th October 10am-2pm

We can take a maximum of 8 people for this workshop, so get in quick if you're keen!

The sock tubes, other yarn needed, pattern and heel method recipe will be included in the class price.

Knitting needles and notions will need to be brought or purchased separately ahead of time.

Materials you will need:
• Sock needles: this could be DPNs or long circulars for magic loop size 2mm 
• A notebook and pen (optional)
• A handful of stitch markers

The workshop is held in the Shop @ 323 Parnell Road, Parnell. Bathrooms are available with access via the outside of the building. Tea and Water will be available and feel free to BYO-Snack if that would make this workshop more enjoyable for you.

Cancelation Policy: Please make sure you are able attend when booking your Ticket. If you wish to cancel, we offer a refund on purchased tickets up to 7 days before the date of the workshop. Closer than 7 days to the date of the class, refunds will depend on whether we can re-sell your ticket to someone on the waiting list.

We withhold the right to cancel the workshop if the number of enrolled participants does not meet the minimum threshold of 3. If the course is cancelled due to low enrollment, you are entitled to a full refund or store credit if you prefer.
